Our FitStar of the week is Ramadan Besim from Australia. Ramadan was looking for a fresh start and to lose weight. Seven months after starting FitStar Personal Trainer, Ramadan has lost 40 lbs and gotten strong!

Here are five facts you need to know about FitStar: Ramadan Besim.


1.  How long have you been using FitStar and what Program do you use?

I’ve been using FitStar for seven months now. I’m currently using the Get Strong Program in FitStar Personal Trainer. I really enjoyed the workouts, so I decided to sign up for Premium.

2. What’s your FitStar story?
Last year I decided that I really did need a change, and I needed to lose weight as soon as possible. Being bullied throughout my school years resulted in me being overweight. So I went to Albania to get away from the environment in Australia and wanted a fresh start. I wasn’t motivated at all to go to the gym or do exercise at all until I found FitStar.

I kept noticing that I was putting on more weight every year. I know I’m not the most overweight person out there, but it was definitely affecting me. Before I used FitStar, I was 88 kilograms (194 lbs) and now I currently weigh 70 kilograms (154 lbs). Once I downloaded FitStar, it helped me lose 18 kilograms (40 lbs), which has changed my life completely. No more heavy legs that have been killing me everyday, no more lower back problems, no more pain!

3. Why is FitStar a good fit for you?

It’s intense and effective. I can do it anytime, anywhere using the app on my iPhone. It motivates me to keep pushing myself and actually have fun doing these exercises. I don’t want to pay big bucks on a gym membership when the gym is usually over-packed. I can do FitStar whenever I want and it’s not expensive. I usually do all my FitStar sessions at home. And I’m not working out on my own, I have Tony as my own personal trainer that encourages me throughout.

4. What have you gained by using FitStar?

I have gained so many things by using FitStar. I can’t thank you guys enough! It has helped me to stay focused on keeping fit, which I struggled with all the time before using FitStar. It’s been one hard ride, but it was also enjoyable and it paid off. I’ve noticed many changes to my body now. I can finally do pushups which I couldn’t do so well before. And finally, one thing I cannot forget to mention is me losing the weight. That’s the most important thing I’ve gained in my life.

5. What tips or advice do you have for others that may help get them started or keep going?

If you want to lose weight, I recommend you go somewhere away from your environment that won’t remind you of it. This will give you a fresh start. You must change your eating habits! Learn how to eat well.
