Music and movement go hand in hand, whether you’re running to a rhythm, or lifting to a beat. We know music is a great motivator, and when we began mapping out the updated Fitstar Personal Trainer, we knew we wanted to focus on fitness soundtracks. The question was, how do we (figuratively) crank up the volume and offer a great musical experience? The answer: Fitstar Radio.

Fitstar iOS Radio

Now Fitstars can unlock more motivation by selecting great music to match your workout. Fitstar Radio lets you choose from seven different music playlists with tracks by popular artists. Choose from Pop, Rock, Hip Hop, Electronic/Dance, Throwback (80’s, 90’s, 2000’s), Power Mix, and Cardio Mix. Do we plan to add more channels? You bet! And we’ll let you know when we have more news.

Please note, Fitstar Radio is currently available to all of our Fitstars in the US; our teams are working hard to introduce this feature to more countries.

How does Fitstar Radio work?
To choose music, you’ll select your Fitstar session and then tap the music icon in the top right corner to bring up Fitstar Radio. From there, you can select from seven music stations mentioned above. The music will keep playing if you pause, but if you leave your session (or finish it), the music will stop. You can also mute the music, if you’d prefer.

We hope Fitstar Radio hits the right notes with your fitness plans. Give it a listen, and let us know what you think on Twitter @Fitstar.

i have no idea how to turn off the music and play my own content. The app does not seem to match with the tech support note. Any ideas? (ios)
