We kicked off 2017 with the redesigned and refreshed Fitstar Personal Trainer app – have you checked it out? We’re so pumped to bring you this new take on personalized fitness, and hope you’ve been working hard with our new trainers, Lea and Adrian.

Along with new trainers, we introduced new workout recommendations, and launched Fitstar Radio, so you can get moving to the music of your choice. One of the most personal (to us) features, however, are the friendly faces sweating alongside you in every session. In fact, in that picture up top, you’ll see Trainer Adrian literally behind the camera with our Product Manager!

At Fitstar, we believe getting fit is a team effort. From having a dedicated personal trainer guide you through an exercise, to depending on a workout buddy to hold you accountable, we know partnerships see great progress. We’re still a small team, and our people behind the product are just as excited to use the app as we are to share it with you. So excited, that some of us even made the leap from behind the scenes to in front of the camera.

Our Product Managers perfected moves, Designers demonstrated stretches, and even our Head of Analytics got in on the action. You’ll see a lot of new faces as you dive deeper into the app and check off more workouts. Many of these faces are Fitstar Team members, who, like you, have fitness goals and use Fitstar Personal Trainer to reach them. We built this app to motivate people to get moving; one of our guiding principles has been to make exercise accessible so you can squeeze in a great workout anytime, anywhere. We test that theory everyday at work, because we know the best workout is the one you can do right now. And if
we can do it at the office, odds are you can do it at home.

So – will you see more of us? You bet! We’ve had #WorkoutWednesdays for a long time – but now #PhotoShootFridays might become an actual thing.

We hope you Keep Moving with us – and we’ll see you in the app! (Or, rather, you’ll see us!)

Been using FitStar since pretty much the early days. Always been a fan. One challenge I’ve had with the new refresh is I am not sure what muscles I am focusing on. Previous version would say “chest and arms”, etc. The new names are kinda vague.

And, this is a longshot, would absolutely love something that includes weights and/or equipment for those of us that have home gyms.

Looking forward to FitStar continuing to evolve!

Thanks for being a longtime fan and user of Fitstar, Stan! We have also heard from others who miss knowing what muscle groups they’re working on. We’re aware and looking to address that in the future. And we’ll feed in your input about weights to our development team. Thx for the feedback!
